1996 FXDL - move foot controls back to mid

Can anyone help me with what tools I will need to move my foot controls from forward back to mid. All the original mounting brackets and such were left - so I beleive that all I will need to parts wise is the shorter linkage...
So if anyone has any ideas on where to get the parts needed and the tools necessary to remove the old linkage and repalce with the new....
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Assuming the old shift shaft is still in the primary you should only need 1/2 and 7/16 open end wrenches (shift and brake linkages) and 5/16 allen wrench for the footpeg rests to frame bolts. The bolts holding the forward control mounts should only require a 9/16 open end wrench to remove, but may be mounted with 5/16 allens. The above wrenches should work for removing the forward control linkages from the brake cylinder and shfit arm. If the shift shaft has been removed from the primary I'm afraid you'll be better off going to a qualified technician.
