I have an appointment for the 25th, riding south from Kenai Alaska through Seattle with a stop at Latus for custom mapping of my SERT with you this month. Then another 10,000 miles on my way towards and through Sturgis before heading back home again in August. My question is "should I be purchasing a set of Quiet Baffles or Performance Baffles prior to my arrival there for my custom mapping?" It's a long ways from here to there, so it's a one shot deal having you map my Underground Heads 95" build and I want to get it as close to right as I can. I am a long distance cruiser, and want good fuel ecomony along with my power from this build. I will sacrifice a little power for MPG, and I want to be ready when I get to Latus to get the best from this build, and I like the pipes so I just want to get the right set of baffles before I get there. The build is Underground Heads 95" with the Wood TW-6HG geared cams, Wiseco flat top pistons @ 10.5:1 compression with releases, and the Rinehart True Duals with a HD SERT and SE air cleaner, no other modiifications. Thanks!

If you change baffles they must be installed prior to the SERT mapping as this change will affect the VE tables. Anything that affects or changes the air flow through the motor will correspondingly change the mapping. We recommend the quite baffles, especially for long distance riders. They actually promote low end torque (better "seat of the pants" feel), are easier on the ears for long rides (less fatique) and are friendly to others. But, the caveate is that they will not make the peak HP numbers of less restrictive (loud) baffles.
Will be looking forward to meeting you.
