anyone know of a way to take the blu off of chrome pipes? Any chrome cleaner or household chemical that would work?

I have pretty good luck with Blue Job. Add a 'tiny' bit of water to the polishing pad and add the white powder to make a thick paste. Keep rubbing lightly in a circular motion in a small area. Wipe off paste with a soft terry cloth and buff with a microfiber cloth. You will see the difference.

X-treme metal polish has worked well for me. Takes some work, but does not scratch as bad as others when done. Even the best stuff will leave some small scratchs or "haze". Bluing can be a function of the chrome plating and is not always a tuning issue. Removing the blue in these cases is typ. temporary. Of course, tuning can be a contributor as well as riding style and environment (I.E. steady RPM's while under heavy load with retarded ignition timing-freeway with a headwind).
Thank, Mike
