Mike, i was wondering what you meant by the backup oring on the oil pump, i have a older style feuling and it has alwats bugged me how the feed sits in the case and can come off the pump, so do you mean you double up the oring in the case so it keeps pressure on the part that hooks to the pump? and if so what size oring do you use to double up with , currently i use just the one oring but i use a yelloe SE pushrod tube oring a little tighter fit.

also thanks for calling me about the roller X lifters by chance did you ask MR. shubeck about the metering on the Roller X , i just want to make sure it gets what it needs to top end.

Yes, Joe and I talked. We'll be using a set in an upcoming magazine build. The oil metering is still a bit of an experiment. I've been using oring p/n 11105 (drain plug oring) with the fueling pumps. We install this onto the crankcase side of the spool. It then pushes against the larger oring in the crankcase (yellow version, as you've indicated) but, since smaller, it tends to push the larger oring into the case trapping the spool between the case and pump. so far no probelms with this approach.
Thanks, Mike
