Mike, you dynoed my bike Feb.2005(05' FLSTCI in the 251 kit dyno charts.37g cams,RBRacing 2 into 1 pipes) and am pleased with it. But have decided to pull the pipes and go with D&D Fatcats .So with the tune I have on the PCIII would it be ok to ride the bike 300mi. to your shop for another tune?I am also going with a SERT.Is SERT #32107-01E the latest version? I found one for sale but want the right unit and software(CD ROM #32117-01G).Also can I purchase a download from you or would it be best to run with the PCIII and have you install the SERT being that you need to tune it anyway? Thanks for everything
The "E" SERT version will be fine since most of the updates are to do with '06 model changes. Yuo will fine traveling the 300 miles with the PC/RB map, just may not run perfect in some RPM/load areas. You can purchase a map from us but it is always better to custom map so that differences between bikes can be accounted for (fuel pressure, voltage and injector pattern/volume). Make sure the SERT you are buying has not been installed on another bike, they "marry" to only one ECM and so can only be used on one bike (unless you buy the ECM also).
Thanks, Mike
Mike, I have an '06 StreetGlide (w/ 25* injectors) and just purchased the -01E version SERT. I plan on having the bike dyno tuned when I install it. It this the correct SERT?
Make sure the enclosed SERT CD has suffix "G". This CD has the cals for the 25deg injectors. Some early versions of "01E" SERT's had CD suf. "F", which do not have the 25deg cals.
Thanks, Mike
