06 SE VROD MAP ??

I am new at this mapping game and was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have an 06 SE VROD and was going to install a set of Jug Huggers and a K&N. I also purchased a Harley Race tuner. Does the tuner come with a map for this set-up or do you suggest one? Thanks for any and all answers.

Welcome to our site! The Race tuner only has installed maps for Harley combinations. Since the "Jug Huggers" are aftermarket, a custom map will have to be used or developed. We have not yet tuned a V-Rod with these pipes and so, would not have a map to use or sell. The good news is that Race Tuner allows for this map creation so long as you have a facility available to you that is up to speed with race tuner. There may be other web sites that sell or offer SERT maps and one may have a map for your combo. Be aware of a few points about using a "canned" map (including ours). The map is only as good as the abilities, with SERT, of the originator. Stock bikes can have up to a 15% difference in required map values due to variances in injector flow, fuel pressure and voltages. This alone dictates custom mapping since these variances are accounted for as part of that process (the O2, part time closed loop on 06 Dyna's is specifically there to address this variance). Unfortunately, no easy answer to these questions, custom mapping is the best choice.
