Curious if you have any experience with Mystfree Vents from Doherty Machine?

We have not tested this vent. It does not look subtantially different than the metal H-D design but sometimes small differences can have big results. I would have to figure out how to test one to give a valid answer. The problem with testing is that a motor with a lot of carryover (by definetion) is probably not in good mechanical condition and therefore would not be cured by installing these vents (does not fix the real cause). A motor in good condition typically would not have much carryover and so it would be hard to determine if the vents are helping. The most carryover typ. occurs at wide throttle openings under heavy load and so testing with a load control dyno might be a neat way to try but we would have to find a bike that has a problem and then, somehow confirm beyond a doubt that it does not have some mechanical issue causing the problem. Maybe Doherty has some test data they would like to share.
