Mike,

I now have the Baker DD-6 for my 2000 Dyna. I am going to have the transmision installed at the local HD dealership.

Would?this be a good time to?up grade to the?Aim clutch?for the 107 inch we have been discussing? Will the installation of the AIM clutch be duplicating any work that is necessary to be done for the 107 up grade? If so I am thinking it would be better to wait and?have the clutch installed at the same time the rest?the work will be done.

Can I get by with the VP83T which the web site says is good up to a?110" motor or up 130" motor with a spring?or will I need to plan on buying the VP92T??

Thanks, Skeeter

?

There is a little labor overlap if you install the AIM lockup at a different time than the motor build but it is minimal since the spring and lockup can be installed through the clutch cover (although some like to pull the primary cover to install the spring). The VP92T can be used with the stock spring or the SE 10% spring for a lighter lever pull. We use the VP83T with the Barnett spring just for added safety.
Thanks, Mike
