Mike,

I am going to install a 107 inch motor in my Dyna.

I am now?running a Vance & Hines 2 into 1 Pro Pipe.

I have read?the D&D?2 into1 Fat?Cat porduces good?HP #s?and a nice torque cruve.?

Is the D&D significantly better than the Vance & Hines??

?If so?does the performance difference justify the purchase of the D&D consinding I already have the Pro Pipe?

Thanks, Skeeter??

Skeeter, got your E-mails but have yet to respond, hope to soon. I think the D&D is a better pipe, it puts the torque dip in the 1.7-2k rpm range. Typ. we are accelerating from 2+k rpm so the dip becomes transparent. The D&D also typ. carries high torque pretty flat from 2-3.5k rpm and then ramps up from there nicely, so average torque is much better than the Pro-pipe. Whether it's worth the expense to change is for the customer to decide, but the very reason for our large exhaust file on this site is to give customers some aid in making such decisions based on the same data we use to offer our recommendations. You can review several examples of both the D&D and Pro-pipe on our library (if you've not already done so) and compare the shapes of the curves. Then based upon where you want the power and your riding style you can then make a better more educated choice.
Thank, Mike
