View Full Version : Which exhaust
I have a '06 StreetGlide with the Stage II (203's) out of the Harley book. It has the SE air cleaner & the HD download. I will be adding a Power Commander at the time of exhaust install. I'm having trouble deciding between an RB Racing LSR 2-1 with 1 3/4" headpipe's or the Rinehart Truedual's. I find myslef in the 2,500-3,000 rpm band the most and ride 2-up about 1/3 of the time. Any input? Thank's!
Both systems work well but both also saddle the torque from 2-3k. Those that seem strongest in this area have been the V&H Round slip-ons and the D&D fatcat 2-1. Examples of all, except the RB LSR, are on this web site. We've just not tested many of the RB's. Typically pipes that do well in the lower rpm's will not in the upper but it is in this area that you want the most torque for your two-up riding. It is also the most noticable from a "seat of the pants" feel. The web exhaust file is designed to help customers when making these decisions based upon the same info. we use to make our recommendations. It is large by design so that many exhaust's can be compared when used with different combinations and how those differences affect the hp/tq curves.
Thanks for using our site, Mike
