Mike, what settings would you recommend a DTT be set at for a FLHT with 95 icn flattops, stock heads, andrews 21 cams and supertrapp 2:1?

We start with slope at 4, initial 2 and multi spark enabled. Try more aggressive settings until you experiance detonation (pinging) and then back down from there. You can work the slope and initial back and forth until you can get the most aggresive combination without detonation. Higher disc counts in the exh. can stand higher settings because of less heat build up.
Thanks, Mike

Mike, thank you for taking the time to respond. The DTT does not have the multi spark option and its dials are a little different than some of the others. The slope and timing both are set at 5 to correspond to stock slope and timing. Going up on the dial advances timing and slope and going down retards both. So would I advance both timing and slope? thanks again for providing this service.

I may be looking at some old literature but the Mode select used to have a multi spark option. I would start with the slope select first and then fine tune with the initial timing select. On the dyno we set intitial at 0 until we have the slope where we like it. If I get detonation on say slope 7 but not on 6, then we would use slope 6 and and add intitial until we get detonation and then back off that setting. You want the most aggresive settings (highest) the motor will allow without detonation.
