I?ve a FLHTCUI 2006 (international model), with SE Mufflers, Recalibration cartdrige and Air filter. Engine runs much better and revs faster. Problem: ambar engine light on dashboard turns on at 3.500 RPM. When decelerating it turns off. Could you please help me? Thanks in advance

This one takes some thought! It could be as simple as a bad wiring connection to the speedometer, likely a ground wire. Does the engine light momentarily come on just after each time the engine is started? If it does, a historic code is set and may help dertermine cause. It may also be a calibration problem. Not sure about International models, they may have something unique that requires a different cal. The 1450 Stage 1 legal cal. (the only cartridge/DT cal offered for stock 88ci/1450) is for use with stock mufflers or the active exhaust. The SE mufflers may be causing a lean condition which then can cause the ECM to momentarily see "no combustion" (or other fault) at that rpm (likely detonation). Unfortunately the only cure for this condition is Race Tuner, Power Commander or some tuning device to compensate for the mufflers.
I would start by checking for stored codes. Then, try to reproduce the problem on the dyno with digital technician in data monitor mode to identify if knock control is active at that rpm or other unusual activity is apparent (this can be recorded for step by step viewing). Last, a call to H-D tech services may be required. It looks like a trip to a dealership will be needed (I would recommend the dealer who did the installation).
Thanks, Mike

Thanks Mike! There is no historic code when connecting digital technician. Light goes on when starting normally and goes off after two or three seconds (normal condition). Yes, the problem may be caused by SE Mufflers with the cartridge.
I will keep informed.
Thanks again
