Tests and Compare-Misc.
This is our favorite folder because it has all the weird stuff we see. Some of the graphs are of actual tests performed and others are just things we've seen along the way but are very valuable in what they tell us. The "wet sumping" graphs show the dramatic effects of oil drag. Many graphs are comparisons of anything interesting as these opportunities present themselves. In all cases, when more than one graph is shown on the same chart, it is the same bike. This will be a fun file to watch as it grows.

NON USB VERSION. AFFECT OF TUNING FRONT CYLINDER ONLY WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE OF REAR CYLINDER AFR. EVEN THOUGH FRONT AFR LINE IS RELATIVELY FLAT, THE POWER CURVE STRUGGLES AT HIGHER RPMS.
COMPARE TO "POWER COMMANDER FR VS RR TUNE" GRAPHS TO SEE WHEN BOTH CYLINDERS ARE TUNED AT LEAST TO THE BEST COMPROMISE.
THE NON-USB VERSION PC'S DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO FULLY TUNE EACH CYLINDER SEPERATELY. THIS DEMOSTRATES THE NEED TO DO SO.
SE RACE TUNER AND USB VERSIONS HAVE THE ABILITY TO FULLY OPTIMIZE EACH CYLINDER.
USE WITH AND COMPARE TO "POWER COMMANDER FR VS RR AFR" GRAPHS. ALSO FOR DETAILS.
INABILITY TO TUNE EACH CYLINDERS FORCES COMPROMIZING. EVEN THOUGH NEITHER CYLINDER HAS A FLAT FUEL CURVE, THE COMPROMIZE GAVE BEST OVERALL TUNE. BUT THE REAR CYLINDER MUST BE CHECKED TO BE AWARE OF POSSIBLE CONFLICTS, FR VS RR.
COMPLETELY STOCK BIKE TUNED WITH SE RACE TUNER. DONE FOR COOLER RUNNING.
SAME BIKE TUNED WITH POWER COMMANDER AND THEN WITH SE RACE TUNER
Same bike with and without ported heads. Y-pipe mod, also.
BIKE HAS V&H SOFTAIL DUALS AND SLIP-ONS, TUNED WITH SERT. AIR CLEANER TEST DONE AFTER TUNING/MAPPING.
NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SE AND ZIPPERS FILTER INDICATES BIKE HAS ADEQUATE AIR FLOW WITH THE SE FOR THIS COMBO. BIGGER, MORE AGGRESSIVE MOTORS WOULD BENEFIT. THE INCREASE WITH NO FILTER MAY BE A FUNCTION OF COOLER AIR.
SAME BIKE AS AIR CLEANER TEST 1; V&H SOFTAIL DUALS WITH SLIP-ONS, SERT TUNED. TESTS DONE AFTER TUNING.
COMPARISON OF STOCK AIR BOX/FILTER VS STOCK AIR BOX/K&N FILTER VS SE AIR CLEANER KIT.
LITTLE DIFFERENCES FROM 1.5-3K INDICATES STABLE TEMPS-VALID TEST.
AS EXPECTED, FUEL WENT SLIGHTLY RICH FROM 4.5+ WITH MORE AIR CLEANER RESTRICTION.
