I bought a new 05 RK FLHRI from you folks a month or so ago, I am wanting to know more about exhaust modifications, air cleaner modifications a so on.
I want to go to a k&N filter and some either Samson or Bub exhaust. What other modifcations will I have to make to maintain performance and warrenty if I install this type upgrade.
Also I was supposed to get and reply to a questionair about how my deal went and I never got that?
Thanks in advance Don Taylor

Congratulations on your purchase. We have some packages on this web site called "Aero Packages" you may want to check out. They include everything needed. These kits were designed to be warranty friendly and to provide the best power increase to cost value. However, deviations from the parts list (typically exhaust) require the use of Race Tuner, which is a crossed flag part. H-D does not offer specific calibrations for these combos. Refer to the Screaming Eagle parts book for H-D's explaination on how these parts impact your warranty. Note also that any aftermarket, non H-D part is considered to be a "crossed flag" part. Last, H-D has changed the vendor who makes the air cleaner element in their SE kits and it is not a K&N. K&N elements can be purchased for these kits and are much better but add cost. You can expect to go from 66HP/70TQ to about 72HP/85TQ with these upgrades. The exhaust choice will have the largest impact on these numbers. In addition to our Aero kits, the new S&S stainless series and Rhinehart systems have been working very well. If you like, you can come in and talk with me or our chrome specialist for more details.
